Biography

Scott Housing Consultancy was founded by Simon Scott MRICS to give housing organisations and developers direct access to senior, practical expertise on a flexible basis. Simon has held Assistant Director and senior leadership roles across Places for People, Origin Housing, One Housing, Peabody, Southern Housing and Bovis Homes.

His experience spans strategic land, planning, regeneration, development, commercial property, private new homes, Shared Ownership, pricing, customer journey, digital transformation and asset disposal. He combines board-level judgement with a detailed understanding of what happens on live schemes and in customer-facing teams.

Simon has chaired the National Housing Federation's London Home Ownership Group, contributed to sector discussions with funders and government, led teams through merger and operating-model change, and achieved MRICS status through the Residential pathway.
